CAPE RACING YACHTS
Cape Racing Yachts is a boatyard, at the Cape of Good Hope. It is staffed by enthusiastic people who love sailing and who are determined to build fast, reliable boats that will continually amaze and thrill those who sail them.
Our boats are safe, fast, easy to sail and fun. They incorporate technology from the short-handed sailing fleets to allow owners to get on the water quickly and easily, without the hassle of assembling a large crew.
Our location allows us to provide skilled, yet inexpensive boat builders, where boats can be built and commissioned in the European winter. A good shipping service exists between Cape Town and numerous European Ports, so it is easy to ship the boat north in time for the new sailing season.
Our current project is a new 5th generation Class 40 design commissioned from Owen Clarke Design. Two have been sold, with the first due for launching early in 2017
